DEFINITIONS
1.1. In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the Agreement:

“End User Data” means any data provided to GBG by the End User for processing in accordance with the terms of the Agreement including where relevant any personal data.

2.1 The End User acknowledges and agrees that (i) GBG collects End User Data when End User or any other GBG customer runs a transaction using any of the Sources listed below, (ii) GBG process End User Data to create and store a one-way cryptographic hash on data elements (“Hashed Elements”) in the GBG Trust USA network, (iii) taking into account available technology, the Hashed Elements cannot be reversed, and (iv) GBG uses the Hashed Elements of End User and other GBG customers that are stored in the GBG Trust USA network for matching and comparing based on each End User’s selected parameters, for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraud.

2.2 GBG represents that (i) the Hashed Elements stored in the GBG Trust USA network is neither identifiable as coming from GBG’s customers nor separately removable from the GBG Trust USA network; (ii) the Hashed Elements stored are not accessible; and (iii) the Hashed Elements are retained in the GBG Trust USA network for ninety (90) days after which they are permanently deleted or destroyed.

2.3 GBG warrants that the Hashed Elements are not provided nor disclosed to any of its customers. All the Hashed Elements are utilised for the specific purposes of detecting and preventing fraud.

2.4 Subject to and provided that GBG complies with the terms herein, the End User grants to GBG a ninety (90) day royalty free license to utilise the Hashed Elements collected from when the End User runs a transaction using any of the Sources listed above and maintained in the GBG Trust USA network to allow matching transaction information with Hashed Elements for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraud for GBG customers who are utilising the Sources under its Agreement with GBG (“GBG Trust USA Licence”).
