A Customer Use Case describes what you are using GBG’s Service for. In order for GBG to meet its controller obligations under Applicable Data Protection Law, GBG needs to understand your use of its services so that the data presented to you, aligns to your use.

You have a requirement to ensure that the personal data you hold is accurate and up to date, therefore you may wish to append new contact details for an individual that you already have a relationship with, where you have a right or obligation to do so. For clarity, this data cannot be used for marketing purposes. This may be provided in the form of statistics (a Data Accuracy Report) or a file.
You have a legal requirement to ensure that the personal data you hold is accurate and up to date, therefore you must remove outdated records by suppressing or validating existing data for the purposes of reducing fraud or contacting an individual that you already have a relationship with, where it is appropriate to do so. This may be provided in the form of statistics (a Data Accuracy Report) or a file.
You have a desire to understand an individuals’ personal data, therefore you may wish to append variables to gain further insight regarding an individual that you already have a relationship with. This may be provided in the form of statistics (a Data Accuracy Report) or a file.
You have a requirement to ensure that the personal data you hold is accurate and up to date, therefore you may wish to append new contact details for an individual that you do not yet have a relationship with, where you have a right or obligation to do so.. You have a requirement to use the service to help you locate and contact a debtor in relation to the repayment of debt, or for the tracing of a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated consumer-credit or consumer-hire debt or non-FCA regulated consumer debt.
You have a requirement to use the service to locate an individual, or the relative or associate of a deceased individual for the purposes of asset reunification. This may be required by law or regulatory obligations.
You have a requirement to use the service to assess an individual’s affordability to protect and / or support them, and to allow you to meet your regulatory obligations.
