Resilience, reliability and scalability are the main objectives behind moving ID3global to the cloud. We must ensure the service provided by ID3global meets our customer requirements, not only based on how the product delivers outcomes from a performance perspective, but how reliable the product is for our customers. By moving to the Cloud, GBG has more control of the ID3global infrastructure to ensure the ongoing reliability and resiliency.
Microsoft Azure Cloud provides its customers with a guaranteed 99.99% uptime and supports GBG with achieving its Service Level Agreements within our contracts.
By moving to the cloud GBG will ensure the ongoing excellent service provided by ID3global, but with even more scope to improve the performance and reliability of the service. Moving to the Cloud provides us with the opportunity to manage all elements that make ID3global and to ensure its ongoing resilience and reliability.
The change is scheduled to occur in late August 2022, after extensive testing and accreditation.
As ID3global is a PCI DSS compliant Application, GBG needed a Cloud provider who could ensure the ongoing requirement to meet our certification and security requirements and our obligations to customers and partners.
We reviewed the services and solutions made available by the industry’s leading cloud providers and have determined that Microsoft Azure provides GBG, and its customers, with the requirements to ensure compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
In addition, GBG will use technologies available to ensure that ID3global is not only compliant with PCI DSS but our other adopted security standards and frameworks including:
The adoption of cloud technologies will only further enhance ID3global’s existing security posture.
Note: For more information on the Microsoft security standards as applied to Azure cloud services please visit the Microsoft Security, Privacy and Compliance: Microsoft Trust Center Home | MS Trust Center
No change will be required to continue accessing ID3 global as normal. Our URL and IP Addressing remain the same. The robust security framework already in place for ID3 global today, will continue to be applied and GBG will be ensuring that PCI DSS compliance is maintained throughout.
