The Supplier Data that GBG uses to provide Mortality, Deceased and Halo Data check is supplied by GBG’s Data Supplier. GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with its Data Supplier to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the following provisions. These terms apply to all Mortality, Deceased and Halo Data checks. Individual Mortality, Deceased and Halo Data checks are identified by ID Number on the End User’s Order Form.

1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms:
“Halo File” means an electronic database file together with any monthly updates, comprising names and other associated information including but not limited to dates of death (if such information is available to the Data Supplier).
“Halo Product” means the product which comprises the Halo File, Electoral Roll Data and the Software
“Search or Searches” means a single search or searches of the Halo File or Halo Product to enable the Customer to assist it in identifying whether or not a single individual is dead or alive through the generation of Search Results.
“Search Results” means any names generated by the End User pursuant to a Search or Searches.
“Software” means the software supplied with the Halo Product which facilitates any Search or Searches, and the printing or exporting of any such Search Results.
“Permitted Purpose” means to identify deceased records for credit screening, customer verification or fraud prevention reasons only for its own internal business purposes.

2. USE OF THE SERVICE
2.1. The End User may only use Halo Data for the Permitted Purpose in accordance with the terms contained within these terms.
2.2. The End User must not under any circumstances;
2.3. Use the Deceased Identity Data for the purposes of directly marketing to any household which has suffered a bereavement;
2.4. Copy or modify the Halo file or Halo Product to create a derivative work based on the search results;
2.5. Make any Halo file, Halo Product or search result available to any third party, including a parent, subsidiary or associated company without first obtaining a supplementary sub licence from the Data Supplier.
2.6. Utilise the Halo trademark or tradename in any way whatsoever without prior permission of the Licensor.
2.7. Install the Halo File or Halo Product on more than one computer system or to make the Halo File or Halo Product available for general dissemination through any form of computer network infrastructure.

3. DATA PROTECTION AND COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS
3.1. GBG does not use Sub-processors to provide you with this element of the Service as the Supplier Data is hosted by GBG.
