LAND REGISTRY EXTRACT SERVICE | ID NUMBER 201223
The Supplier Data that used for Land Registry Extract Service is provided by GBG’s Supplier, HM Land Registry (“Land Registry”). GBG is obliged under the terms of its agreement with Land Registry to ensure that all End Users agree to comply with the following licencing provisions:
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. In these Additional Terms, the following definitions shall apply, in addition to the definitions set out in the General Terms and Product Terms:
“End User Data” means any data provided to GBG by the End User for processing in accordance with the terms of the Agreement including where relevant any personal data.
“Permitted Purpose” means the purposes, restrictions and or conditions for the use of the Dataset outlined by the Supplier as set out in the Additional Terms below in addition to the Customer Use Case set out in the Agreement.
2. USE OF THIS DATASET
2.1 The Supplier Data contains public sector information which is Crown Copyright. The End User acknowledges and accepts that responsibility for ensuring compliance with the terms of the Crown Copyright will lie solely with the End User.
2.2 The End User shall not edit, alter or amend the Supplier Data. Where an End User is explicitly permitted in its Agreement with GBG to publish or otherwise share the Supplier Data with any other third party (for example as an authorised reseller or channel partner), the End User must ensure that all additional End Users who receive or access the Supplier Data receive a copy of these Additional Terms and associated copyright notices.
2.3 The End User warrants that it will not use the Dataset for any reason outside the Permitted Purpose.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
3.1 All proprietary rights in the Supplier Data are subject to Crown copyright and protection. The End User does not have the right to use or reproduce the registered trademarks and logos of Land Registry without Land Registry’s prior written permission. Any loss of revenue or costs (including legal costs) attributable to such infringement will be payable by the End User.
